College Labs: Genetics
Although our pure genetics product suite is still under development, we have several labs that fit well into genetics classes and the genetics components of introductory biology classes. EvoBeaker® includes several labs that explore topics in population genetics, including Sickle-cell Alleles which introduces and applies the Hardy-Weinberg equation, and explores natural selection and genetic drift; and Hardy, Weinberg, and Kuru in which students derive the Hardy-Weinberg equation. At the other end of the scale, our Mitosis & Meiosis Demystified™ interactive tutorial provides a comprehensive approach to introduce students to the cell cycle.
