SimBiotic Software, a leading developer of secondary and college-level biology education software, is looking for an independent contractor to assist us in the ongoing development and maintenance of our website. This is a part-time, ongoing contract position.

Specifically, we are looking for someone to:

• Work with SimBiotic staff to make programmatic improvements and modifications to existing site
• Interface with service providers as needed to maintain the site.
• Develop a new internal website that integrates several of our distinct systems into one combined portal.
• Develop/refine custom modules

Requirements:

• Drupal 5 configuration and administration
• Good understanding of CCK, Views, blocks system, and Drupal theming system.
• AJAX programming and jQuery-based development
• Familiarity with contributed Drupal modules, and ability to recommend modules necessary to fulfill user requirements
• Custom Drupal module development
• Working knowledge of CSS is a plus
• Basic Unix system administration is a plus
